In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God Amen.

Greetings all,

I am new to othodoxchristianity.net and this is my official first post. I kind of feel weird (read embarassed) about my first post being a prayer request but I came across this forum when loooking for some help and guidance ..........so I'm confident that your praryers are destined for miracles. I more than anything want to become a physician, to use the abilites that the good Lord has given me in service for the ill at health. The one thing that is standing between me and that reality is an exam that I have to take in about one months time. I have been studying for it but not as much as I think I should have and I get easily discouraged if the material I'm studying is difficult to understand.

This exam is the all or nothing deal for me and I would appreciate your prayers to help me be better disciplined in my studies, to have a better grasp of the material that I study and most importantly for me to have a greater fear of the Lord for in that lies the beginning of Wisdom.

God bless you all   Cheesy

Greetings in that Divine and Most Precious Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

No prayer, when sincere, is trivial or silly.  We give God the glory in all things, why not exams too? I pray it goes/went well with you Smiley

Greetings in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I just wanted to do a quick prayer update on my last request for help during my medical school entrance exam. I just wanted to let you know that not only did I get a satisfactory result, but I was also able to get an interview to a competitive medical school and finally an acceptance there. I am so elated and all glory definitely belongs to God. Furthermore, I was also able to get a scholarship to go towards my expenses when I start school in August. All this happened because He allowed it to, none of it was because I deserved it. Thank you for your prayers and for your words of encouragement. It is truly appreciated.

Please continue to pray for me as I go through the long and tedious process of becoming a medical doctor but most importantly, please do not forget to pray for strength, courage and wisdom that will always seek to glorify the awesome name of our creator, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Peace to you all.

Glory to God!

I watched a PBS show called Doctors' Diaries (might still be on netflix?) and was amazed at how difficult the process of becoming a doctor is.
