I want to remind people that this is the same Governor who took Federal money from Homeland Security and GAVE it to PRIVATE jewish schools so that they could upgrade their security (see an earlier post I made on that subject).

Maryland & Israel Set Up Joint Development Fund

http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/1104/191073.html Annapolis, Md. (AP) - Israel's Vice Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Governor Ehrlich signed an agreement Tuesday setting up a fund to provide startup money for technology companies in Israel and Maryland.
The two governments each contributed $500,000 as an initial investment in the Maryland/Israel Development Fund.
Olmert says this is a modest beginning. He says he hopes the fund will grow to $1 billion.
Ehrlich says the idea for the development fund, the first between Israel and a state, was initiated at a meeting he had with Olmert during an economic development trip to Israel a year ago.
The fund will be used to make grants to companies that want to develop new commercial high tech products in telecommunications, electronics, software development, homeland security and life sciences.
