My sister-in-law sent me a text while I was at work one day. She was asking me if I'd like to meet a girl who was friends with her sister. I said, "Sure, I can always use another friend." She turned out to be a wonderful friend. We just celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary.

In a college bar. A mutual friend took my future husband out for a drink to get him out of the house after a bad break-up. I caught him on the rebound!

That sounds like awfully normal. You have a life and all. What are you doing in a place like this? Go away before you end up being like us.

Depends what you mean by 'met' and what you mean by 'college'. If by the former you mean 'got together with' rather than simply 'became acquainted with' and if by the latter you mean (as I assume) an undergraduate degree, then I met my wife afterwards whilst doing preliminary research for a psycholinguistics Ph.D., though my funding fell through and it never actually came to anything. If on the other hand you did mean met as in first time we encountered one another, I actually met her briefly in my year out just before university whilst doing charity work in Romania, it was only a couple of times, though and we didn't really get to know each other at all until after so I don't think it really counts.

I have finished college so if I am ever blessed and/or cursed with Holy Matrimony it will be after college.

It is an education process for me as I learn about the psychology of spiritual apostasy. And others get the benefit of perhaps hearing righteousness for the first time.

Local Greek parish's festival. We were both volunteering in the temple and I was trying to start up a chapter of OCF (to be fair I should mention, I am still in college and she is not). I gave her a flyer for the OCF and she came to a meeting. Really though, the Greek Festival.

A mutual friend set us up, but we had apparently been at many of the same places at the same time. She even lived in the same apartment complex as my brother, just a few doors down. When we were supposed to really meet for the first time (at an Iron Maiden/Dio/Motorhead concert), our mutual friend pulled me aside and said that she would be here shortly. We waited. And waited. Then the intro music for Dio started and I looked at my friend and said, "Sorry, but I gotta go. Ronnie James is about to hit the stage."
She showed up less than 30 seconds after I left.
Fast forward a few months and I just emailed her out of the blue and we struck up a friendship which later became something more. We got married a little over two years after that.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more. A hasty quarrel kindles fire, and urgent strife sheds blood. If you blow on a spark, it will glow; if you spit on it, it will be put out; and both come out of your mouth

At a classical music recital.
Actually that's not entirely true. We were nodding aquaintences and had freinds in common for several years and ran in the same circles before we ended up sitting next to each other at a recital of Camille Saint-Saëns organ works, and got to know each other better. We dated for about a year before we moved in together.
