I want to know where I can get some eastern frankencense incense. It is sweet and spicy at the same time; quite different from traditional frankencense.

I'll let you know Monday. I have plenty of Deacon Lance's recommended 'Gloria' incense from ACROD, but still like frankincense myself.

I don't know where "Monastery Incense" might have gone...

I would recommend the fine incenses, charcoal, etc. from Holy Transfiguration Monastery [... in Boston...]:

www.thehtm.org

They are very swift in filling orders, and their selections are of excellent quality...

(I seem to remember "Monastery Incense" as not so fragrant ... ?!?)

Hey wait, this incense is made by Benedictines and it's supposed to be the best?

Anything the Catholics do the Orthodox can do better - including incense!  Tongue

That was joke, just so everyone knows.  Grin

The Hermitage of the Holy Cross in Wayne, WV makes excellent incense. Their web page is:

I would have to agree.  This monastery is very close to me and I use their incense often.  They make it in the traditional athonite style.

Oh, them.  I can't stand to go on that site.  They still try to pass themselves off as something they are not.

Perhaps CE was talking about this "Monastary Incence"
