I want to know where I can get some eastern frankencense incense. It is sweet and spicy at the same time; quite different from traditional frankencense.

I'll let you know Monday. I have plenty of Deacon Lance's recommended 'Gloria' incense from ACROD, but still like frankincense myself. Demetri

I don't know where "Monastery Incense" might have gone... I would recommend the fine incenses, charcoal, etc. from Holy Transfiguration Monastery [... in Boston...]: www.thehtm.orgThey are very swift in filling orders, and their selections are of excellent quality... (I seem to remember "Monastery Incense" as not so fragrant ... ?!?)

The best: incense from Prinknash Abbey in England. Hey wait, this incense is made by Benedictines and it's supposed to be the best? Anything the Catholics do the Orthodox can do better - including incense! That was joke, just so everyone knows. In Christ, Aaron

The Hermitage of the Holy Cross in Wayne, WV makes excellent incense. Their web page is:

I would have to agree. This monastery is very close to me and I use their incense often. They make it in the traditional athonite style.

Oh, them. I can't stand to go on that site. They still try to pass themselves off as something they are not. Perhaps CE was talking about this "Monastary Incence" http://orthodoxproducts.com/
