What are your favorite albums of music to listen to the entire way through? I mean albums that you love all the songs on, and don't think any are filler or mediocre? The albums that have songs that are similar enough that it forms a beautifully cohesive whole, but in which the songs are not so similar that they sound like they're repeating themselves?
My favorites would be...
Megadeth - Rust in Peace Soundgarden - Superunknown Underoath - Define the Great Line Jethro Tull - Aqualung All That Remains - For We Are Many As I Lay Dying - An Ocean Between Us Opeth - Deliverance Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV Black Sabbath - Paranoid

Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon & Wish you were here (obvious, had to get that out of the way) John Coltrane- A Love Supreme Johnny Cash- At Folsom Prison Marconi Union- Distance Easy Star All Stars- Dub Side of the Moon Tom Petty- Full Moon Fever Muddy Waters- Hard Again Miles Davis- Kind of Blue Townes van Zandt- Live at the Old Quarter Nuyorican Soul Kelly Joe Phelps- Lead Me On Johnny Winter- Roots Tartan Ameobas ZZ Top- Tres Hombres Mississippi Fred McDowell- I Do Not Play No Rock N Roll

This one...in its original LP record format. The slight crackle...just adds to the charm!

David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
That's about the only album I can listen to start to finish.

It is an education process for me as I learn about the psychology of spiritual apostasy. And others get the benefit of perhaps hearing righteousness for the first time.

I really try not to play favorites anymore with music. There are just so many awesome albums out there to list. On the subject of metal, Asteriktos, or any other metal fans on the board, I urge you all to check out this little-known NWOBHM release. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3DftbXhcGc&feature=relatedTruly a hidden gem among the short-lived movement, and one of its best full recordings IMO.

Megadeth: Rust in Peace (original mix, please) YES! The remaster just completely fails to capture the soul of the original IMO. What do y'all metalheads think of the re-recorded version of "Bonded by Blood"?

David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.
+1 Cock Sparrer : Shock Troops
+1 And since Achronos decided to make his unquotable, I apologize for the repeats- The Beatles- Rubber Soul and Revolver (as well as pretty much any recording of their earlier stuff) The Stooges- Raw PowerThe Ramones- The Ramones and Rocket To RussiaDead Boys- Young, Loud, and Snotty (as the Younger, Louder, and Snottier remix) Bad Brains- Self titled Dead Kennedys- Fresh Fruit For Rotting VegetablesBeastie Boys- License to Ill and Paul's BoutiqueRun DMC- Raising HellNirvana- Nevermind and In Utero. Also, while it was more of a compilation than an actual album, I have never hit the fast forward button on Incesticide. Weezer- Self-titled Blue and PinkertonGreen Day- DookieOutKast- every album DC Talk- Nu Thang, Free At Last, and Jesus FreakNewboys- Not Ashamed, Going Public, and Take Me To Your LeaderJars of Clay- Self-titled Wu Tang Clan- Enter the 36 ChambersNekromantix- Return of the Loving DeadMad Sin- Sweet and Innocent... Loud and DirtyZombie Ghost Train- Dealing the Death CardThe Dwarves- Every album, but I always feel the need for confession after....

In no order:
That was evil... Megadeth: Rust in Peace (original mix, please) YES! The remaster just completely fails to capture the soul of the original IMO. What do y'all metalheads think of the re-recorded version of "Bonded by Blood"? I've not heard the Bonded By Blood rerelease (never a big Exodus fan). I haven't heard the RIP remaster either, but I do dislike the remasters that I have heard (except KIMB, which I'm not sure about).
