So, I'm browsing Amazon and I'm trying to find a decent Spanish Bible for my sister, a Spanish major, but I have no idea which one to choose. . . I would prefer a translation straight from the Vulgate or from the original Greek and Hebrew, and not simply a translation of some protestant organization's English text. My sister attends a "non-denominational" church, but seems to show some interest in traditional Roman Catholicism. Use of (near-)contemporary Spanish, while retaining the majesty of the word, would also be a plus! Please help!
