Trust me you have yet to do anything gayer than what these "guys" are going on about. Oh, I could write a book about this stuff.
And I have yet to watch a single "episode".
Coming from the guy who dresses like a, well I'll just say "happy person", on the pictures you posted here. Gayer than a $2 bill. How can you hate on something you haven't seen? it's "queerer than a $3 bill".

Enough of this rubbish. Any favorite clips or pics? I enjoy this song because it reminds me of Warner Brothers cartoons. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLbdibRyt0kSweetie Belle is definitely channeling Babs Bunny there.

Wow, just wow. You all don't have kids and you watch this on your own , on purpose? And I'll say it again. Wow. Transformers is so much better. ; The only shows that I really like more, at this point in time, than MLP:FiM is Venture Brothers and Dragon Ball/Z/GT You got me, I don't even know what those are. Sometimes we have to go past saying we're simply replying to people. Sometimes we have to say: "No! The line will be drawn HERE! This far, and no further!"

It is a giant Adult parody of many different shows, Johnny Quest amoung many others. I finished watching season 2. I haven't binged on a TV show like this since I discovered "24" and had four seasons to catch up on. It was great. Entertaining and enjoyable. The animation is good, the best Flash animation I've ever seen. Looking forward to season 3 this fall. I'm surprised by the number of mental breakdowns the characters suffer in this show. All the episodes are blending together now, but at one point I fully expected the two girls from The Shining to appear.

Back in the old days, when you were nerdy and lonely, you put on a Chewbacca suit and dragged your butt to the nearest Star Wars convention. Now that was manly nerdiness!

^ That's Doctor Who? I would have guessed Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey...
There's been some undeniable influence on the current series. Of course, to be fair, the good Doctor originated the "time travel in a tiny booth" thing. And Time Turner (the David Tennant looking pony, or Doctor Whooves as the fans call him) is badly in need of some fleshing out and limelight.

True, and I'm actually a fan of DBZ, but it's kind of hard to argue that it's "manly" and doesn't lend itself to a lot of homoeroticism (Something the creators seemed to be aware of. Note the Village People-inspired one-off character in the last episode of the Buu Saga).

"When I took the job, I braced myself for criticism, expecting many people — without even watching the show — to instantly label it girly, stupid, cheap, for babies or an evil corporate commercial. I encourage skeptics like this to watch My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic with an open mind. If I'm doing my job right, I think you'll be surprised." —Lauren Faust One of the biggest reasons that I'm proud to be a brony is that it's just so delightfully unlikely... and needed. This summer I've really been discovering just how much simple joy animation gives me and just how much I wanted to go into it when I was young. Though I doubt I ever had the talent necessary to overcome some early discouragement- I still think that animation is, has been, and can be a true form of art (and as such a gift from God to be used to His glory). Lauren Faust and the rest of the crew achieved something seemingly impossible. They took one of the least taken seriously franchises ever, something that could have easily spawned yet another in a sea of "evil corporate commercials" and they made it something witty, genuinely endearing, and (most impressively) actually watchable for someone over the age of ten. Animation aimed at girls is something that for years has been in dire need of depth and quality. I'm not entirely sure why this is so while at the same time there have been many quality shows aimed at the boys, but whatever the reason, I consider it very important to support a show with even a tiny glimmer of hope of fighting back the tide of vapidity. I'm not saying that FiM is the second coming of Chuck Jones. I recognize that it has it's flaws and moments of weak writing, but it's sure as heck better than a lot of things out there and most importantly it's a step in the right direction. It's a step back towards art. And in a field already glutted with crap for both genders, it's an very important thing. Btw, this is an excellent example of rack focus, something that's kind of hard to pull off, I'm told.

True, and I'm actually a fan of DBZ, but it's kind of hard to argue that it's "manly" and doesn't lend itself to a lot of homoeroticism (Something the creators seemed to be aware of. Note the Village People-inspired one-off character in the last episode of the Buu Saga).
Outside of that, what else about it is gay? lol
