ACROD.org has posted three links to the Divine Liturgy celebrated  Sunday, June 10th at SS Cyril and Methodius Church at Camp Nazareth, Mercer, PA at the annual Family Day marking the beginning of the summer's camp season. The responses are in English Carpatho Rusyn plainchant/prostopenije and the homily is by Archimandrite Grigorios Tatsis, the candidate for Bishop to succeed the late Metropolitan Nicholas.

Is that (I mean the wedding part) anything close to the prostopinije: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EM1XA6tq218#t=42m28s

Or do I still not understand that term?

What part of Poland were these clips put together from? Part of the singing sounds similar to Halycan/Galician chants - from the old Lemko regions along the southern border with Slovakia? If so, there is something of a blending of chant north and west of Medzilaborce heading towards Poland. This sounds more similar to what you would have heard in a Metropolia 'Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church'
in the States prior to the 1970's....

I suppose, from the whole country (I see Jabłeczna, Białystok, Warsaw, Orla - Podlachia region - and some Lemko areas (not sure if traditional or Vistula-Action diaspora areas)). The film is about 25-year-old and it's hard to tell for me since I do not recognise most of the people (my mother seen there for 2-3 seconds is propably younger than I am now). I specifically ask about the wedding part.
