Serbian Prime Minister Kostunica stands up for bishop. The prime minister was awaiting departure at Belgrade airport when he learnt that Macedonian border authorities had refused entry to Bishop Irinej, who was travelling to Thessalonica by car with Roman Catholic Archbishop Stanislav Hocevar. Conference organisers in Athens and Brussels then intervened with the Skoplje authorities who finally allowed Bishop Irinej to enter Macedonia.

What business would a "Macedonian" bishop have going to Serbia?

The Serbian Bishop was not going to FYROM, he was going to Greece and by necessity had to pass through FYROM.
