I should refuse to answer this poll on the grounds that there is no "42" option.   But I did anyways.

I am just glad that other people noticed the icon as well! Nice to know that so many people are detail-oriented  Smiley

An icon of First Lady Laura would be more tasteful Smiley

That's hilarious Gregory. I wonder if a certain episcopalian church wouldn't put that up among their "Dancing saints".

Sorry, guys. I have to break the news to you. The icon was given to George W.Bush by a SSPX Traditionalist from St.Mary's Kansas.

What's up with the SSPX giving icons to Protestants?  Statues are so much more provocative.  Smiley

That is HILARIOUS Gregory!!! Grin  But if you thought him worthy of an icon, shouldn't you at least have given him a look of peace instead of making him look constipated?  In spite of the halo, it isn't a very flattering image.

But seriously, I wonder how the president (who is a Protestant, and has a large Evangelical/iconoclast constituency) felt about receiving an icon of St. Mary.  He was probably very cordial, but I would imagine that like any Evangelical, he would be a little turned off.

BTW, who are the SSPX?  Sounds like a Formula 1 racing team, or the Schutzstaffel Post Exchange! Wink
