The Serbian Orthodox Church has decided not to extend an invitation to Pope Benedict XVI to attend celebrations marking the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan, which will take place in Nis in 2013...

What does the term "ecumenical" mean in this context?
"I have been called bad before. Many have said I do things that are not, correct to do. I don't believe in such talk as this. I am nice man, with happy feelings, all of the time!"

Good question. And, more specifically, I wonder who is invited. Some OOs? Some ECs? Some LCs (not including the Pope)? Some Protestants?

The fact that he did not invite the Pope does not mean that he did not invite any representatives of the Catholic Church.
My posts no longer forum here.

being a bishop of the Catholic Church, why would the Patriarch of Serbia invite any representative of the Catholic Church?

Were the Vatican's bishops in Serbia invited?

Is the Vatican doing anything at Milan?

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
