Please pray for my wife Michaela who was hit by a car today (guy turned right into her when it was her right of way). She is doing ok given the circumstances but has a bruised body, chipped tooth, and busted lip. She is in pain but has medication. Thank God, she was not more severely hurt. Forum member TonyS and I went down there to the hospital and were with her most of the day. She is home now with me.

I can definitely sympathize; I was in a similar situation with my fiance a couple of months ago. It's the absolute worst feeling in the world. I'll pray.

Having been in two accidents in the last two years by reckless drivers rear ending me on the freeway, I know the feeling. All I can say is make sure you get X-Rays & see a chiropractor right away & document everything because insurance companies these days are like the italian mafia.

Many prayers...
Having been in 2 major accidents myself (both my fault btw, freely admit it), I can fully sympothise. Make sure she gets everything checked more than once. When I had my head-on collision, I was taken to a rural hospital 5 minutes away, poked & prodded, "does this hurt, does that hurt." Considering I was still in shock, nothing really hurt except my chest where the airbag had hit me. Later I came to find out that my knees were pretty banged up, and now I can't run, ski, etc for very long.
My sis had a minor accident, didn't go to the doctors, & then 5 months later had to have her spleen removed.
Make sure your wife doesn't slack on medical stuff, ya never know.

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...
