I just got the email and I am truly sadden to lose a loving Father. I had the honor of serving with His Beatitude once as a deacon for our priest's son's wedding. We sat together at the reception and had a wonderful time. I will miss His Beatitude. May his memory be eternal.

Thanks. Just this Saturday, Metropolitan Constantine celebrated the 40th anniversary of his episcopal consecration. Everyone gathered to celebrate with him, clergy, hierarchs, his flock and his family. We are honestly all in shock and in tears. http://www.uocofusa.org/news_120521_2.html

Vichnaya Pamyat Valdyko. I have many found memories serving as an altar boy under his eminence as a child in Chicago in the 80's and 90's. He was a very kind and gentle man to me always. Very sad to see of his passing especially since he was just released from the hospital a few days ago. I hope the celebrating of his 40 years as a cleric did not weaken his heart to where it failed.

Our beloved Vladyko was granted by the Lord to be there for the celebration, but also taken within Paschaltide. Memory eternal, Christ is Risen.
