For those of you who love/like Bluegrass, Douglas Dillard fell asleep in the Lord yesterday May 16, 2012.

Back in the late '50's/early 60's, Douglas formed The Dillards with his brother Rodney in Salem, MO.  The Dillards played all over the US, Europe and Asia.  They've been on Austin City Limits a time or two, but many of you will remember them as The Darlings on the Andy Griffith Show.  One of my heroes...

Memory Eternal!

I was just listening to "Backporch Bluegrass" last night.

Memory eternal, indeed!

Memory Eternal

Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
