I am in awe of the example of humility given by the men in this thread who claim to need a place of solitude to play music, watch sports, drink alcohol, etc. I’m sure this is what you claim here, and perhaps what you tell your wives also, but when you are finally alone and the door is locked you pull out your prayer ropes, face your icon corners, and do countless prostrations into the night, winning for yourselves many crowns. You put us slackers to shame who do not spend nearly enough time in prayer to invent such excuses to hide our spiritual labors.
