I've stopped contributing to is but it's still a nice jubilee for a website and I wish them well.
It seemed unreal and crazy that sometime one could read about Orthodox church „on the computer”, share their opinions, read theological articles, as well as be up to date with latest news about Orthodox church in Poland and abroad. But on 5th May 2002 at 12pm cerkiew.pl has been launched with joyous words: „Christ is Risen!”. It spreads orthodoxy country-wide and operates till now! What is more, this year it celebrates its 10th Anniversary! While cerkiew.pl is not an official webportal of Orthodox church in Poland, our texts are cited by the largest and most popular media: PAP, “Rzeczpospolita”, “Gazeta Wyborcza”. How did it happen that cerkiew.pl still exists? How will it look like in the future?
