Chasin' down a Hoodoo...

« on: February 04, 2012, 08:40:44 AM »

Hi friends, brothers, and sisters,

I am completely sold on this series of NT commentaries authored by Fr. Lawrence Farley.  The one pictured below is the only one I currently own, but I plan on ordering all of them (one by one of course).  Any y'all have any of these commentaries?  I really can't say enough good about them.

i've read them, they are absolutely excellent.  For your money, these are definitely the "best" out there.

I've read 4. They're great. I don't know why they aren't better known.

You inspired me to start collecting as well.  The head priest here at our church has the whole collection & i've just "balked" at getting more books, but these are definitely worth it.  time to start!

If any of you are interested, Concilliar Press is running a sale from now til 12/31/2012- buy all four Gospel commentaries and save 20% on each of the four books.  I know what hints I'll be droppin' for Christmas.  Smiley
