Why do people, especially in my culture, like to instill fear and negative/putrid/morbid imagery to express a truth? Couldn't it have been expressed in a different tone? I dont see using such techniques as bringing people to accept truth but as a means of pushing them away from it the more the fear is inplanted in unsuspecting heads.

What is your "culture"?

You can't divorce content from form. End the dualism. Some truths are ugly. To suggest otherwise is dishonest.

Then again I have no idea what your vague OP is about.

Example?

By the way, contrary to a lot of nonsense, fear is a great motivator. One of the strongest actually. Hence the repeated use of it.
