Catherine (Katya) is a young girl who during Great Lent began waking up and speaking with another voice. At first her parents thought it only to be nightmares, but, it has gotten worse, with an angry and foreign voice. Their pastor has been to their house and blessed it and her bed with holy water. Molebni are constantly being served in her honor, and yet it persists.
Please, please....pray for this little girl. I know her...She's a great little Orthodox girl.....and she's an absolute angel who LOVES God with all her heart.
Her parents are currently looking for an elderly monk to pray over her, because they've been told it is dangerous for married clergy to attempt an exorcism, due to the demons taking revenge on the priest's family.
Please, remember to ask God to help her in your prayers.
Lord, please shine Your mercy upon Katya, and cleanse her of all evil!

Has an Unction service been done for poor Katya? There is much good in it, and it need not be done by seven priests, if that number is not available.

I don't know. I only just found this out. I haven't had a chance to speak with her parents, yet. The little girl is a regular church goer....and always approaches the Chalice.....she's a sweetheart! It breaks my heart that something so evil should be near her. Please pray.... I believe in the power of prayer! |

In addition to the faith aspect, I would think a psychiatrist would be better than a psychologist in this situation.
