For new youth group
« on: April 21, 2012, 11:34:09 PM »
My Church finally has some other kids/youth around my age (yay!).  The grown-ups wanted to start a youth group.

Yesterday was our first meeting.  We played volleyball, ate pizza and talked for quite a while.  It was great fun.  We've made St. Polycarp the patron of our youth group.  We have lots of fun activities in store, such as fundraising for summer camp and other things.

Please pray that our little group will stay afloat and grow as more young adults come into the Church!

“To the church minded, I’m too leftist and to the leftists, I’m too church minded….notions of political labels, religious labels, etc. must be placed secondary so as to not lose human contact. Red or white, my position is the same-I will act for justice and relieve suffering.” - Saint Maria Skobtsova of Paris (prisoner number 19263)

Lord have mercy!
To God be the Glory in all things! Amen!

Only pray for me, that God would give me both inward and outward strength, that I may not only speak, but truly will; and that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one. St.Ignatius of Antioch.Epistle to the Romans.

Lord have mercy.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
