I was moved by this clip of a very frail, elderly Bishop this past Holy Saturday. Remember in your prayers, the archpriest Volodomyr, Bishop and Metropolitan of Kiev, raise him from his bed of pain and grant that he may spend the remainder of his days in Your service. Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,
and urgent strife sheds blood.
If you blow on a spark, it will glow;
if you spit on it, it will be put out;

Lord have mercy!

Thank you for this video, the dignity of the elderly, the suffering is even more magnified in the Light of Christ. Christ is all and in all.

His Eminence visited the U.S. several years ago, a tour coordinated by the OCA.  If I recall correctly, his visit had something to do with the icon that Archbishop John of Chicago, of blessed memory, had retrieved from the Soviets.  I saw him at "The [Cleveland] Plain Dealer," at the time, its publisher was a devout Orthodox Christian, Alex Macheskee (sp).  His title is Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga.  I was very moved just by the presence of His Eminence, you knew you were in the presence of a Godly, holy, humble man.  God bless him.

No longer posting due to the Pharisaical behavior of a number of posters here who are more concerned with the letter rather than the spirit of the law.
