Dormition Norfolk's Newly Illumined
« on: April 16, 2012, 02:51:38 PM »
Prayers and well wishes for all the newly illumined brought into the Church this past week at the Dormition of the Theotokos Orthodox Church in Norfolk, VA. I attended this parish last year when I lived up that way and am proud to hear that they brought in 14 new converts this Holy Saturday.

Many years, and Glory be to God!

Edit: PS they are a very small parish renting out space from another denomination- and now growing too fast to contain all the parishioners! Let us all also pray that they can soon find a new building to contain their great growth!

Thanks be to God!
He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will have no end.

Glory to God.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Many years!

I have worshiped in that parish in times past and am glad to read that it is growing.
