24 oz of canned stew fell on my foot almost two weeks ago. I could move it just fine once the initial eek of pain subsided. It was sensitive on the top of the foot and a bit swollen but the swelling subsided that day. My bruise was healing and the circulation was good, so I did not mention this at my very first meeting with my new doctor/insurance. I has been nearly 2 weeks. The bruise has significantly faded from what it was before. I had a heavy box resting on my foot today for a couple of seconds. Ever since then, it has been more sensitive to impact on that part of my foot. So prayers please for continued healing.

Looks like I have another month or so at least. I'm starting to wonder again if I need to see a doctor about this. Arg.

I don't know if x-rays are expensive. I suppose not with what I payed for an uninsured x-ray a while ago. I can walk. Dancing around makes it more sensitive. It is still sensitive to pressure from above (it was hit from above with 24 oz before, but the discoloration is fading), and it feels like there is a little padded area around cut from the impact. Moving my toe all the way up causes an achy pain around this area.

I got to synagogue more often than I do church, and have been missing church a lot lately with schedules and sleep, but this should change soon. I do not know a doctor who can look at it. I have a friend who is a nurse, but I have an appointment coming up for it. Hopefully I will get a good diagnosis and an effective treatment plan established (or officially blessed if it is what I am doing now).

The x-rays showed that the fractured had healed, but I was still bruised and stuff, and afraid to bend my toe all the way. Now I rammed my toe into something and it hurts again and further at the next joint.

I bought an arnica ointment going on 4 weeks ago. I have used it slightly under once per day-may have to re-bandage at each application.

May God grant you quick healing.  I feel for you...literally!  I went for a walk last night and fell. scrapped up my knee and twisted my ankle.

I just bumped the toe pulling it down from the foot and hurt it. Gah! So frustrating! I was just starting to get better (with the swelling and all) apart from the inability to curl my toe downward more than a little.  Angry Embarrassed  AngryUndecided
