Seriously, part of my anecdotes is all about light pollution and the Enlightenment. And alcoholism and astronomy.

Good sermon. It mainly draws to mind the point in the Easter Vigil liturgy when the deacon chants "Christ our light!"

Well said by the Holy Father. I daresay that we Orthodox can relate to his homily in a manner that many of us simply can not do when we hear or read the words of many leading American evangelical preachers.
