I've been on these forums for a while, lurking and occassionally commenting when I thought I could contribute but I feel like saying that it is partially thanks to what many orthodox have said on these forums that has helped me settle in the Church and on this Lazurus Saturday being made an Orthodox Christian.

Thank you.

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.
