A couple of months ago I posted asking for prayers for my boss who was (most believe) let go unfairly. Yesterday I was terminated. I went from being given moderate praise as doing a good job by co-wokrkers and supervisors, to be let go because I did not do the job adequately. I admit there was a couple of hiccups, but nothing that was not fixed with no financial, legal, or 'social' ramifacations for the company. As a buyer, I had regularly and successfully negotiated low prices from suppliers, as well as had perfect record of correct part procurement. There have been some tremors at this company lately, and a lot of my co-workers have been let go/pushed out the door. I can not legaly even begin to describe some of the problems the company is experiencing, but I will say I think it is trying to cut costs. I am not after blood, I will apply for unemployment insurance. The company will prob fight back. Please pray for me (Ian) that I can get through this quickly, and come out the better for it.
Thank you

Ian, you have my prayers. I can imagine what you are going through, as its getting clear the same is going on where I work. A gentleman was accused of rude behavior towards the customer and the contact, where our company is working, demanded his remove from this work place. My friend retired, but found out that the contact never had any problems with this man. Its my company just trying to get rid of those who are with the company 20+ years. I myself, had my salary cut by $3,000, last year and was told I was having almost $5,000 cut from my salary this year. The CEO is taking a salary of a little over a million dollars, not including benefits. Its the almighty dollar that is running the companies these days at the detriment of the employees.

I have diligently tithed for a number of years now. However, right now I feel that my situation is God's punishment for my unintentional, largely subconscious, but nonetheless real expectation of being 'rewarded' for tithing. I pray that I can do His will, and never give it a second thought...
