It's way too easy to get doing something and end up still awake at 3, having to get up the next morning at 6 *shudders* (bad memories lol)

Well, today my boss called me at 9:45... It sorta went like: <<phone rings, hand emerges from pile of blankets & pillows... fumbles around bedside table... ah, found it!>> "....ugggh hu-wha....?" "Where are you???" <<eye emerges from under pile of pillows, squint at clock... explosion scatters pillows, blankets all over room>> "HOLY S#!+!!!! I'll be there in FIVE minutes..."

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

I've worked night shift for 25 years, I've never had a regular sleep schedule.

I tend to keep myself to a pretty regular schedule ... in bed between 9 and 10 pm, up between 5 and 6 am, so that I get around 8 hours of sleep. It helps that I don't watch TV regularly, and tend to get home early enough from work so that I can do whatever I need to do in my spare time and still go to bed on time. That all gets thrown into the wastebasket during the baseball playoffs, though!

Not in the least.
Stock up now. When the Young One arrives in the Spring, you'll need the reserves. I've got 3 children and 2 cats. Sometimes I doze off at the keyboard. And I'm told that I'll get even less sleep when the Young are teenagers. I can't wait. Ebor

7 classes at School. 30 hours of work a week. = sleep deprived Nektarios
It is sad when there are days when all I can think about is how wonderful it would be to get a full night's sleep. Oh well my last day of High School (Dec 16th) is fast approaching and after that it will just be a normal 40 hour work week, and then the Holy Mountain for lent and Pascha.
