The Gift of a Child
« on: March 16, 2012, 07:57:47 AM »
My 19 yr old daughter is going into labor as we speak. I sadly cannot be up there. Grateful to God my wife can. She has chosen to have a natural home birth. May our Lord God be with her. Praise and thanksgiving for for a new born child!

Glory to God!

Glory to God!

Be comforted, and have faith, O Israel, for your God is infinitely simple and one, composed of no parts.

...at this point I hope the child has arrived!

May the Lord have mercy on mother and child!

Many years!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Not as of yet! Apparently taking after his grandfather and taking his sweet time.  ;)

I thank you all for the prayers. It means a lot to a nervous grandpa. My family and home Church are as well of course. I will pass these prayers on to my daughter who has reverence and respect for our Orthodox brethren as well as I do.

God bless and Glory be to God indeed!!

Lord have mercy, and Glory to God.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

 ;D ;D ;D

My little girl had a healthy boy! Glory to God.

Thank you all for your prayers! Both mother and child are well.

May Cayden be forever in God's light, guided by the Holy Spirit, and in communion with the Divine Nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.
