Greetings! This is my first post. I want to read the early church fathers. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I thought you might have rather specific reasons. Frankly, I think most would do well to read St. Paul over and over and over. Outside of that, I don't have enough experience nor any experience guiding others to have an informed opinion. |

Well, Ignatius letters are close to the source also, the only other closer being Clemente and Didache (which isn't ECF material), I believe. I got started by listening to this series of podcasts. It required minimal effort to find out about some of the Fathers who piqued my interest. You may find it helpful. |
