Just out of curiosity, may I ask whether you are a Greek or an immigrant? If the latter, did you consider conversion to Orthodoxy before moving to Greece?

Neither I suppose! I am From England - British. Where I lived in England there was no orthodox, so I really didn't know much about it. It has taken me over 2 years to get this far. I am still learning slowly, some of the customs still feel slightly alien to me, I guess that will take a while.

I do know that If I had stayed in the UK then I would not of had the chance to learn about Orthodoxy, God works in mysterious ways, even though we don't realize it at the time. Thank you all for your warm welcome and encouragement, God bless us all!

Neither I suppose! I am From England - British. If you're a Brit living in Greece, then you're an immigrant In any case, God bless you in your search, and may He unite you to His Church.

God bless you! You are blessed to live in Greece, having so many saints nearby even in Athens. I hope you are able to visit them often.

Not to be flippantly dismissive, but something of such a personal nature as this is best addressed by your priest, not by anonymous yahoos on an Internet discussion forum.
