the people on this forum have to stop taking themselves so seriously. None of us are some modern-day Athanasius, we all just have nothing better to do.
Congratulations! Just out of curiosity, may I ask whether you are a Greek or an immigrant? If the latter, did you consider conversion to Orthodoxy before moving to Greece?
I have some good news, I have been accepted as a catechumen in the Greek Orthodox Church here in Athens, now I have much to learn on the beginning of my spiritual journey! Thanks and praise to God.
i thought i made a big effort to become orthodox, but i am humbled now to see how u moved countries for it!welcome and may God bless yr catechumenate. i am very happy for u.

If you spend long enough on this forum, you'll come away with all sorts of weird, untrue ideas of Orthodox Christianity.
I would suggest most persons in general avoid any question beginning with why.
