I haven't told anyone yet, but, I have been having slight issues with my heart and cardiovascular health. I am a bit worried because I am only barely sixteen years old, and if I am having heart troubles that could be a very bad sign in terms of my health. The last week or two I've noticed that a couple times a day, my heart feels real sore, and sometimes I feel like I cannot eat or drink anything because of it. The worst happened this morning when I woke up and my heart felt really sore and cold, and I had my hand on my chest for five minutes until it went away. I think that it may be connected with these breathing exercises I have been taking up lately to help me develop breath control since I do a lot of singing. Some of these including inhaling slowly while counting to a certain number in my head, and doing the same while I exhale, along with holding my breath and breathing in certain ways.

sounds like trouble with yr gullet (esophagus); this would give u trouble eating and drinking, but heart trouble would not. so see yr doctor, at least just to reassure yourself u r not about to die!
i went to a doctor years ago with very strange headaches, thinking i might need a scan. he diagnosed me with stress related migranes (stopped once i changed jobs) and i am still alive today even without having had a brain scan!

See that doctor. May God, by the prayers of Sts. Cosmas, Damian, and Panteleimon, keep you in good health.

Please see a doctor immediately! Last year, at the end of November, I was having trouble catching my breath. Finally, I went to the ER and was admitted for 6 days, as I had blood clots on both my lungs. If I had waited any longer I'd not be writing this. I'll be on blood thinner for about a year. Please, don't wait.

Lord have mercy.
Definitely get to a doctor. Heart problems are rare for people as young as you, but its still possible. Chest pains could also be caused by heartburn or really bad acid reflux.

Please follow the advice from others here and see a doctor immediately, even if you need to go to the emergency room. I have suffered two heart attacks and almost a third. I was only 29 when I had my first heart attack, and I am alive today because I went to the emergency room. If I had waited, I would have died. Most people that die from heart attacks die because they don't take their chest pains seriously until it is too late. So, please don't take any chances. OK?
"Lord have mercy."

See a heart specialist immediately! I did not and I had to have a heart transplant. If you are worrying about possible consequences, the state of medicine is such today that your chances of surviving even a heart failure is very good.
