My wife told me that her mom has cancer.  We don't know too much at this time like what type, how far along it is, whether it is treatable/manageable/curable, etc.  This stems from an episode she had late last week where she had to be rushed to the hospital.  I'm glad it was caught.

Also, pray for my wife who is feeling very sad and also angry because of all of this.  Thanks.

Lord have mercy.

Sometimes illnesses like this can be a blessing.

My prayers for your Mother-in-law, your wife, and all your relatives.

Thanks, everyone.

Just found out today that she has stage 2 cervical cancer which is one of those cancers with a pretty high mortality rate, though it's only diagnosed in 13-14,000 women every year.  The doctors seem upbeat and so does my mother-in-law as does my wife.  We'll know more about chances and prognosis following another exam on Friday.  Assuming approval for treatment is given, she'll be doing 5 weeks straight of radiation along with one dose of chemotherapy each week. We're still hoping for the best. Your continued prayers will be appreciated greatly.
