Did the Apostles use prayer ropes or chotkis made by monks on Mt. Athos?

Yes.  And the apostles were re-baptized on Athos too, just to make sure the apostles received a proper baptism.

I always wondered where that whole re-baptism thing started.  Now I know.  I'll stop blaming the Russians and Old Calendarist Greeks Grin Grin.
