I'm bored:
Top 10 reasons to use the Julian Calendar for Christmas 1. Decors are at 75% off 2. There's no competition for best Christmas lights on your block, you win. You're the only one with them on. 3. Regifting is much better. Fashion and electronics aren't a year old. 4. Christmas shopping is 75% off. 5. You don't have to kill a tree, just wait for your Roman Catholic neighbor to take out his tree on January 6. 6. You can take a vacation without worrying about the need to go to church if it is a weekday. 7. You don't have to worry that a jolly elf in a red suit is taking all the attention on that day. 8. Your coworkers have no excuse for greeting you Happy Holidays because your religious holiday coincides with holidays of other religions. 9. Less drunk drivers on the road when driving back from Christmas vigil. 10. Atheists can't tell you that December 25 is pagan (from their point-of-view it is already January).

LOL @ the second one. How come that passed and my Thanksgiving coming out didn't? AFAIR, yours was supposed to be a 3rd (5th?) picture about Thanksgiving in a couple of days.

You guys think we could create an Evangelical Evans or something? Like say, some 30 year old guy in teenager clothes supposed to be an Evangelical minister? Or a Lapsed Catholic Larry? To represent the traditional American lapsed Catholic who hasn't been to Church in twenty years.

I think the point of Hyperdox Herman is self-depricating humor. Creating memes about people we are not is just mean and hateful. I would have loved to create a Traditionalist meme but that would be just sad for me.

No it isn't. It's always the person who thinks they've got it all figured out and will be in it "for life" that, a few years/months/days/minutes later has it all figured out again and regrets how silly they were a few minutes ago. As comedian Brian Posehn said about heavy metal (as about life) "I remember being 15 saying, “Dude I’m going to love heavy metal forever. Heavy metal til I’m 60.” I’m 35 now. I think I’m going to give it one more year."

Doesn't every sincere convert believe he "has it figured out" and plans to "be in it for life"? I have never met someone who converted to Orthodoxy with the intention of leaving after a period of time.
