How about a Misunderstood Convert meme?

New convert starts growing his beard,
Is going to school to be blacksmith.

Starts buying tones of Orthodox books,
Already has extensive collection of other literature.

Wants to learn Greek,
Has been trying to pick a language to learn for years.

Becomes involved in Ukrainian cultural activities,
Grandparents are actually Ukrainian.

To be honest they sounded better in my head then on paper, but see what everyone can come up with.

THANK YOU!

For some reason I never enjoyed learning Spanish, even though it is the most practical and useful. Greek is a beautiful language with connections to scripture, the church and even to ancient literature.

Two more. Thought of them whilst brushing my teeth (fun fact).

Wears Skufia he bought on eBay,
thought it was a toque (or winter hat).

Changes name at baptism,
Bishop suggested to do it.
