That must have been a Father Serb touch.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

I've had that on other forums as well. I wouldn't be surprised if it's built into the software.

I think you'll be the first to achieve that level. ;)
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

I checked, and sadly it is not the case. ialmisry has 36707 now, though I doubt anyone would have noticed when he hit that exact number, so quickly do the numbers fly by. PeterTheAleut seems next in line, and rather close, at 30959 post at the moment...

The Gospel is quite clear: both saints and sinners love God. "Religious" people do not love him, and whenever they can, they crucify him.

Of course, OC.net is not reflective of the Church, but is rather a surreal bubble. I have visited a lot of different parishes around the world and have listened to many hours of AFR...
