I have moved to the Washington, DC area and now serve as an acolyte at St. Nicholas Cathedral (OCA). As part of my duties, I sometimes have to readd the epistle. Is it correct to say: Alleluia in the _ tone. or to say Alleluia in the _tone, followed immediately by the verse?
