So what is your custom in your church for Soul Saturdays?
If a church around here holds the liturgy and panachida (trisagion I think is what the non-slavics call it) on Saturday there is usually food afterward.
We don't use koliva and no one bakes prosphora for liturgy.

Liturgy with Trisagion following and also always very poorly attended. No Vespers the night before with no Orthros the morning of.

My dad's homevillage does not have it's Soul Saturday on Soul Saturday because there are several cemeteries within his homeparish and priests cannot visit all of them one day. It has the Soul Saturday two weeks before the actual Soul Saturday (New Calendarists Wink)

So in the morning there are Matins and a Liturgy in the parish Church (that is in the village opposite). Then priests and the villages from the particular village go to the cemetery. A panikhida is celebrated in the middle of it. Then priests visit each of the tomb, have a short prayer there and sprinkle them with the holy water.

it sounds like u should play the steel drums after vespers to the tune of newly composed songs for repentance during lent.
