The evangelical outreach of Orthodoxy, of the Russian Orthodox Church has received a new impetus with the consecration of a new monastery in Thailand, by the director of the institutions of the Moscow Patriarchate abroad, His  Eminence Archbishop Mark of Yegorevsk.  A Thai hieromonk was awarded the gold pectoral cross.  Russian Orthodox faithful came also from Laos and Cambodia.

To the Russians abroad it has been granted to shine in the whole world  the light of Orthodoxy, so that other peoples, seeing their good deeds, might glorify our Father in Heaven, and thus obtain salvation
