May the Lord bless you and keep you always!

My grandfather, and one of the most influential men in my life, passed away last night after a miraculously long life with Pancreatic Cancer (he was diagnosed 6 1/2 years ago).

Please pray for John's soul, and for strength for my grandmother Priscilla and for our family!  (For the clergy keeping track, they are both Orthodox.)

I am the Resurrection and the Life.  He who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live. John 11:25

Fr. George,
Your grandfather was an incredible human being who will be missed by the many thousands of people he helped throughout his life, including myself.

May the Lord's Hand descend upon John's family and many friends, to both comfort and assure them!

I'm sure he was a very great man and quite a fighter too for battling cancer that long.

May the Lord have mercy on your family.
