Akathist to St. John of Kronstadt
« on: January 31, 2012, 11:16:51 PM »
I'm looking for an Akathist to St. John of Kronstadt, my patron saint; does anyone have an online source for one? I can't seem to find one in English, the only service I've come across is in Finnish: http://www.ortodoksi.net/liturgiset_tekstit/akatistohymnit/akatistos_Johannes_Kronstadtilaiselle.htm

I don't know if this is an option, but Saint John of Kronstadt Press has a book for $25 that has an akathist to St. John in it, titled: Book of Akathists: To Our Saviour, the Mother of God, and Various Saints. I've not bought that volume, but I bought the second one and thought it was very nice.

Thanks, Asteriktos! I've heard good things about the Jordanville edition. Guess I should add it to my shelf and not look for freebies on the interwebs.  ;D
