I wouldn't be asking for this if it wasn't health related and rather urgently needed. I'm currently on a really strict diet and have been for this past week. It's been really difficult to discipline myself and I really need to lose this weight. Please pray.

Of course we will pray for you Just a note, food is a primal drug, it is very hard to deal with solely on our own when things go wrong. The Fathers instituted fasting in the Church precisely for this reason, to through experience and synergetic cooperation with the Holy Spirit we may learn self-control and discipline. That being said, perhaps you should try the Fasting food diet which the Fathers have prescribed for two-thousand years, it is beneficial both to the physical and spiritual health  stay blessed, habte selassie |

It's a five hundred calorie per day HcG diet so it's pretty similar to fasting (near vegetarian), but I still have to eat a certain amount of meat. Then in 40 days, I spend two days eating anything at all every half hour to load back up on brown fat. Then the cycle begins anew.
So, I've got no idea how a priest would react, but this is doctor supervised.
(The idea is that the HcG makes the thyroid think you're pregnant so it locks down your brown (essential) fat reserves, which is normally what the body burns first. It also prevents your body from burning muscle, so it burns your white fat directly.)
I can tell I've lost a couple of pounds already.

HCG diet? I've been urging a certain someone in my life to not to do it, but maybe I need to reconsider.
One of my goals this year is to eat healthier, I have alot of food addictions that I battle and succumb to daily.
Please include me in your prayers as well.

Yeah, you really need doctor supervision. "Homeopathic" HCG purchased online is either 1. Snake oil that's banned by the FDA or 2. Animal HCG that'll kill ya. I'll be sure to pray too. |
