Incensive power?

Hey so im reading the Philokalia and came across this term. could someone explain what this is exactly?

As far as I understand, it's the appetitive (desirous) movement to anger. It can be used in a godly manner or in passion. A feeling of righteous hatred to sin is a godly use of incensive power. The feeling of irritation in reaction to an event is the incensive power inclining you to passion. Throwing a tantrum is being completely controlled by the incensive power and wrath. In other words, it's the soul's natural drive for justice but has been corrupted to be inclined to self justification and violence.
