Beautiful dear salpy! the view from the Church is quite breath taking also! and what a delightful Archbishop you have! Glory be to God!
I used to walk by that street for years on my way to school
its a beautiful church, the Armenians have been in Ethiopia for more than a century, they have served Ethiopia as Ethiopians on various levels, and are one of the most hard working, devout orthodox , loving and humble people I have met.
look at this one, the man talks about how the 40 Armenian Children adopted by the emperor heroically refused to play the Turkish national anthem to the deligates of Turkey that came during the anniversary of the coronation of the Emperor. It is such a delightful story to hear, the heroics of this young men and their unbending principle.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EN9GRGZQ_xE
great is the Providence of God, that there are many Ethiopian Armenians today in Ethiopia who raise Ethiopian poor children and Orphans either by adopting them or by the direct help of their family and their children.Look at this one example here .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o44l9nnZMn4&feature=related
