Yes, the Armenian Orthodox Chuch is Orthodox and has always been.

There are two Orthodox presences in Jerusalem (many more of course) because it is such an important place to so many local Orthodox Churches.

Everyone wants to be there.

If they are the same why do they fight? Why do Orthodox fight each other in so many places, taking each other to court, coming to blows even at funerals, throwing each other out of churches, even digging up the departed?

It's Oriental Orthodox but not Eastern Orthodox. The schism occured after the Council of Chalcedon.

And the fights in the Holy Land are often due to rights of each church, which are defined by an old Ottoman settlement from the 19th century. Prior to that, things were actually worse. The Crimean War began over claims to holy sites in Jerusalem.

I watched a program last night about Jerusalem and it mentioned The Crimean War, and the history behind it all.

I did not know that there was much of a difference between the OO and the EO apart from some schism that happened along the way.

As holy men I thought they would live in peace, rather than fight over a piece of land that is holy and show reverence to it.
