60 Minutes right now is having a program on Mount Athos.  It's on a commercial right now, but I think there is another ten minutes left of the program.  It's very good.

I watched it earlier this evening!

Its a rerun from a few months ago.

I loved it!!!

Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

I noticed what seemed to be a prayer rope around Bob Simon's wrist.  Did anyone catch that?

Back home in CA visiting my family. Made a point of watching it with my father (trying to get him out of the anti-Christian cult he's in). He didn't have much positive to say ("That guy wouldn't come home for his father's funeral? What a jerk!"), but I have to admit I laughed when he yelled at the TV when one of the monks was reading from the Bible by candle light: "Hey! Heyyyy! You're gonna drip wax onto the book!"

It was nice to see this program again.
