Iconostasis taking shape at Carmel, Indiana church
« on: December 12, 2011, 03:05:18 PM »
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Carmel, Indiana is a beautiful building, but it has until now lacked a particular feature. Construction of the iconostasis is finally underway.

From the article:
Quote
Hand-carved from oak, the soaring structure will rate among the largest in Indiana.

"Everybody in the congregation today was speechless," the Rev. Anastasios Gounaris said later Sunday.
