I think they would all be Orthodox already... That would be fascinating. That is, to study what religious manifestation, if any, was shown in an intelligent life outside of this solar system.

Seeing how hard it is to live on this planet, I wonder what gases that planet has for an atmosphere? How fast and wild are it's Tornadoes, floods, earthquakes........etc.
Also, what is it's gravity like?

Non for Salvation is for the whole Cosmos and not just for man alone. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. We as humans are just the first fruits in that process. And so it doesn't really matter what's in the Cosmos. Whatever is in it will go through the same process.

I guess the implications are something like the following:
Traditionally, the Church has seen Man as the pinnacle of material creation, since we consist of body and soul.
Intelligent life elsewhere suggests that in fact there may be other creatures that consist of body and soul that are not Man.
This raises questions about the Church's claim that Man is the pinnacle of material creation on the grounds of possessing both body and soul. Wouldn't these intelligent aliens also qualify for the status of "pinnacle of material creation"? If so, how do they fit into the Divine Economy as the Church understands it?
