I'm feeling really overwhelmed right now. I have a lot of things I need to get done by finals next Wednesday and I'm really struggling with apathy and fatigue. My stomach isn't taking the stress very well.

Father, thank you that you are right there with us even in the most difficult and stressful of times. Help us to know what positive things energise us to cope with the busy parts of life and to get the work/play balance right for us. Icing the knee? FWIW. Traction > icing. I don't ice anything. It actually doesn't make a lot of sense and haven't done it for that reason for forever and even most sports docs are now moving away from it. For "sprains" immediate traction and movement are highly recommended. The guy who literally wrote the book or shot the video on it was in my neck of the woods along with the sports mind who created the prehabiltation protocol for women's prevention of knee injury due their greater Q angle. Having wider hips than most males my size and thus having a greater Q angle meant I had to get with a similar protocol. Thankfully these folks were around were I lived and were starting just as I was struggling with chronic knee pain. Icing a sprain anymore is sorta from the stone age IMHO. |

My Orthodox brethren, Christ is in our midst! Pray for me, the sinful servant of God, Haralambos. I am student teaching this semester and I need all the prayers that I can get. I am doing my student teacher at a Middle and High school. I am also applying to several graduate programs. I'm also broke which doesn't help the situation.
